In Angola, land acquisition occurs mainly through the granting of land rights. Let us explain the main ways in which these rights are established:
Purchase and Sale Agreement :
You can acquire land through a purchase and sale agreement. This involves the transfer of ownership upon agreement between the parties.
Forced Acquisition of Direct Domain :
This mode occurs when the State transfers direct ownership of the land to the emphyteutist (occupant), in a coercive manner.
Agreement of the Parties or Judicial Sale :
The potestative right of the tenant (occupant) can be exercised by judicial decision, resulting in the establishment of land rights.
Lease Agreement :
The lease allows the creation of the civil useful domain , where you maintain possession of the land while the State retains direct ownership.
Special Concession Agreement :
This contract is used to establish the surface right , allowing construction or maintenance of works on other people's land.
Special Lease Agreement :
To grant the right to precarious occupation , you can enter into a lease agreement with the State.
